Amy Stausebach
I have been professionally pet sitting since 1997 and
I love it! I come from Wilmington, Delaware, where A Pet’s
Dream is still running strong! I have had a passion for animals my
whole life. I used to watch pets for friends and family members even
before I knew pet sitting was a professional service!
Currently, I
have one dog and many cats living with me (have you ever heard
the expression "Every life should have nine cats?")
All of my animals are rescued – either from abuse/neglect
situations or from being abandoned on the streets or at a shelter.
They find
me, I swear! My animals are my children, and I will treat yours
as I would want mine treated.
In Delaware, I was also big into trap/spay/neuter
programs for
feral cats. I continue to do animal rescue work in the valley.
I like to do what I can do to
help control the overpopulation of stray animals. Please do the same and
have your animals spayed/neutered!
